R. Charles (“Chuck”) Manly Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Chuck Manly serves as SEMS Technologies' Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. While under his leadership, SEMS plans to increase its lead as "The Compliance Specialists" in the Community Drinking & Waste Water Industry.
Prior to joining SEMS in June of 2007, he served in leadership positions for more than 15 years with a number technology companies. These companies include a start-up, cutting-edge technology company, a niche industry market leader, and a larger, national publicly traded technology company.
Chuck holds a Masters of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
He is a life long resident of Georgia where he lives with his wife Jennifer, daughter Andy, and son Robby.
Mitch Copman President
Mitch Copman is the president of SEMS Technologies, LLC out of Suwanee, GA. His role is to build and maintain relationships throughout the Rural Water Industry through state and national associations along with government regulators. Previously, he was CEO of CLASSIC Real Estate Systems, LLC for 13 years. CLASSIC was the premier software provider for the Rural Affordable Housing Industry, specializing in USDA-Section 515 Rural Development, Tax Credit and HUD properties.
His hands on, “stay in touch with the industry” style has him traveling nationally forspeaking engagements, meetings with federal and state regulators, board meetings and industry lobbying efforts through congressional officials. Since 1998 he has authored a column on technology and industry niche automation. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors for CARH, a national industry association, as Treasurer for more than 10 years. He also holds a prestigious position on the board of directors for the CARH Scholarship Foundation.
He has a BS Degree in Marketing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He is originally from Philadelphia, PA, and has made the Atlanta Suburbs his home along with his wife and two children since 1984.
Todd Cornett Manager, Technology
As the original developer behind the first SEMS offering, Todd manages the development of future product releases which will be added the SEMS suite of tools. He is tasked with translating regulatory and compliance requirements for small rural utilities into the SEMS 'step-by-step' methodology which has earned the software its popularity and widespread use.
Since 2002, Todd has worked as a government contractor and independent consultant in the Washington, DC area. His work with a number of federal agencies, including Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense, has provided him with a strong understanding of government processes which has become a critical asset for the SEMS Technologies' team.
Originally from Southern California, Todd earned a Bachelor's Degree from Georgetown University in Computer Science and currently resides in the DC Metro area.
Ryan Costello Manager, Government & Industry Relations
Ryan Costello serves as SEMS Technologies' Manager of Government and Industry Relations and is a part of our Washington, DC based team. In this capacity, Ryan is tasked with working with the state and federal regulatory agencies and water utilities throughout the country to find ways to make the compliance process more efficient and effective.
Prior to joining SEMS, Ryan was the legislative director for a federal government relations consulting firm which represented a wide range of corporate, non-profit, and municipal government and agency clients. In his four and half year tenure, he helped develop, manage, and execute federal advocacy programs within Congress, the Administration, and executive agencies.
Ryan is also one of the original co-creators of the SEMS Software and was fundamental in building a base of over 25,000 users and securing EPA approval of the SEMS security product line.
Originally from the New England area, Ryan currently lives in Washington, DC and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.
John Bobber Manager, Sales
John Bobber serves as the National Sales Manager for SEMS Technologies. He is responsible for building relationships on the customer level and leading the SEMS sales force into new geographic territories. Currently SEMS is actively involved with 17 States and is positioned to serve all 50 states with compliance and regulatory software within the next 12 months. John’s focus is on ensuring that the state specific regulatory environment is accurately represented and served with the SEMS Software Suite.
Previously John worked with sales teams in the regional and national advertising field. John graduated from The University of Florida in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. John grew up in the Atlanta area as a child and was able to transition from Florida back “home” in May of 2008.
